Bellevue Firefighters Local 1604 has graciously offered to send two members of the Department to attend the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 in New York City.
September 11th, 2001 was an unparalleled event of terror, loss, and recovery that continues to hold significant impacts to our country and the world at large. The 20th Anniversary will see thousands of firefighters, law enforcement officers, and emergency responders gathering in solemn acknowledgment of all that occurred.
Raffle tickets will be sold here starting July 30th through August 30th. Two winning raffle tickets will be drawn and awarded airfare and lodging for the weekend events. Local 1604 will also provide UWR backfill as needed. Proceeds of the raffle will go directly to the benevolent efforts of the Bellevue Firefighters Community Support Foundation.
Important Notes: To be eligible to win the trip to NYC, entrants must be dues-paying members of Local 1604 (active or retired). It is excepted that formal dress attire be worn at pertinent events. Members will be expected to attend all pertinent events, displaying proper professionalism and character to befit this event.
